IT Support Specialist

We are seeking skilled helpdesk support to manage and maintain our IT infrastructure., Manage and maintain Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Users and Computers.

• Configure and manage Cisco networking switches.
• Install and configure Windows operating systems and Office products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Collaborate with the IT team to design and implement network and system solutions.
• Set up workstations and display systems including running network cables, patching RJ45 jacks and keystones.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the reliability and availability of IT services.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
• Backup devices and restore systems.
• Ensure security best practices are followed and assist in the development of security policies.
• Provide technical support and training to end-users.

Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office products. -Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory Users and Computers.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, and DNS is preferred. -Proficiency in Ethernet Based Networking, IEEE802 standards and protocols, QoS, POE

• Experience with Cisco networking switches preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and part of a team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications are a preferred., * This position occasionally requires installing and maintaining network cabling and IT infrastructure at elevated heights using ladders and scissor lifts/aerial work platforms. Are you able and willing to safely perform work at elevated heights and use this equipment as required?
