You will support Whitney Center’s commitment to resident engagement and fulfillment by maintaining technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, communication, and systems management. As such it is your responsibility to promote a positive work environment and maintain positive work relationships. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, telecommunications, and technology systems across our senior living community while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Respond to IT service requests and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Support Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Wi-Fi, and telecommunications systems.
- Set up technology for new employees, residents, meetings, and special events.
- Manage user accounts, keycard access, and basic network infrastructure.
- Provide technology training and support to staff and residents.
- Assist with technology projects, inventory, and documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of progressive IT support experience.
- Experience supporting Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory.
- Knowledge of desktop imaging, hardware deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Working knowledge of networking, DHCP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting iOS and Android devices.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including phishing awareness, endpoint protection, multi-factor authentication, and password management.
- Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
