Job description

  • Develop and maintain preventive, predictive, and reliability centered maintenance strategies.
  • Analyze maintenance history and equipment performance data to identify recurring failures and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide technical support for complex maintenance activities and specialized repair projects.
  • Serve as a technical resource for rotating equipment and predictive maintenance programs across a variety of industrial assets.
  • Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations to improve equipment reliability and operational performance.
  • Lead or support root cause investigations and recommend equipment or process improvements.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve reliability concerns.
  • Collaborate with Engineering on equipment upgrades, replacements, and reliability improvements.
  • Support the planning and execution of major maintenance shutdowns and capital projects.
  • Promote continuous improvement in maintenance practices, equipment performance, and operational processes.
  • Provide technical guidance and support the development of maintenance and operations personnel.

Requirements

Our client is seeking a Reliability Engineer to improve equipment reliability, reduce unplanned downtime, and support long term maintenance strategies across a manufacturing operation. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys analyzing equipment performance, solving complex maintenance challenges, and driving continuous improvement initiatives., * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline preferred.

  • Five or more years of experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or a related manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience with rotating equipment, vibration analysis, and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Knowledge of reliability analysis techniques and metrics, including MTBF, FMEA, RCFA, availability, and related KPIs.
  • Experience using CMMS software and maintenance planning systems.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
  • Professional certification such as CMRP or Certified Reliability Engineer is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Comfortable working in an industrial manufacturing environment, including occasional off hours support when needed.
