Job description

Backend Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services supporting Institutional Lending Technology. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience building Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and enterprise Java applications., * Develop and maintain Java-based backend services

  • Build Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
  • Implement business logic and data access layers
  • Perform code reviews and automated testing
  • Collaborate with global engineering teams
  • Ensure application quality, security, and scalability

Requirements

  • 7+ years of Java development experience
  • Strong experience with Java 11+
  • Spring Boot and RESTful Microservices
  • SQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or similar databases
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Experience using AI developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, * Performance tuning and observability tools
  • Financial services experience
  • Enterprise security and authentication
  • Angular or React exposure
