Server Hardware Technician

Bytecode Data UK is seeking a skilled Server Hardware Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair server hardware and related infrastructure. You will help ensure reliable system performance and minimize hardware-related downtime., * Install and configure server hardware and components.

• Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting.
• Replace faulty drives, memory, power supplies, and other components.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Monitor hardware health and performance.
• Maintain accurate equipment and service records.
• Support data-center and infrastructure teams.
• Follow security, safety, and equipment-handling procedures.

• Technical qualification in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience with server hardware and data-center environments.
• Knowledge of storage, networking, memory, and server components.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work methodically in technical environments.
• Relevant hardware or infrastructure certifications are an advantage.
