Job description

Sponsel CPA Group is seeking a technology-focused professional to serve as our internal IT Systems Administrator. This hands-on role supports approximately 40 employees by serving as the firm’s primary internal technology resource while coordinating with our outsourced Managed Service Provider (MSP). You’ll help keep technology running smoothly, support business applications, strengthen cybersecurity, and help evaluate new technologies-including AI., * Provide day-to-day technology support for approximately 40 employees.

  • Serve as the primary liaison with the firm’s Managed Service Provider.
  • Support Microsoft 365, cloud applications, and firm software.
  • Manage hardware, software, and technology assets.
  • Coordinate employee technology setup and onboarding.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives and security best practices.
  • Assist with AI tools, automation, and technology improvements.
  • Evaluate technology solutions and recommend process improvements.
  • Manage relationships with software and technology vendors., This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving the firm’s technology, enhancing cybersecurity, supporting innovation, and helping shape our future technology strategy.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of IT support or systems administration experience.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 administration and Windows support skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and customer service abilities.
  • Experience working with outsourced IT providers or technology vendors.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience in a CPA, financial services, legal, or other professional services environment is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, CCH, Thomson Reuters, SafeSend, Suralink, RingCentral, Adobe Acrobat, or similar business applications is preferred.
