Job description

The IT Technical Support Specialist will provide hands-on technical assistance to end users while supporting our expanding network infrastructure. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting Windows 10/11 systems, configuring workstations and laptops, onboarding new employees, and ensuring the smooth operation of desktop applications, network printers, and cabling. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities, excellent customer service skills, and the capability to work independently. Some in-state travel is required. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide desktop OS system support for Windows 10/11
  • Preconfigure end user laptops and workstations
  • Onboard new employees
  • Support desktop applications
  • Install/troubleshoot network printers
  • Network cable troubleshooting skills
  • Interact with vendor technical support
  • Good customer relationship skills
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Some in-state travel required
  • Maintain regular, reliable and punctual attendance at the worksite for the duration of scheduled shifts, including mandatory overtime
  • Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, rules and standards
  • Maintain professional, cooperative, respectful and ethical conduct when interacting with coworkers, customers, vendors and the public
  • Meet established productivity, quality, accuracy and performance standards while completing assigned work in a timely manner
  • Effectively and consistently support the company mission, vision and values
  • Responsible for all other duties, procedures and instructions as required by the job function, or as assigned, to meet organizational needs, This position primarily operates in a professional office setting. This role may occasionally travel for business purposes.
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, talk and hear
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to operate office equipment
  • Work Schedule:
  • The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. with occasional evening or weekend work as needed to meet deadlines or attend events
  • Work schedules may vary based on position/department
  • Travel: up to 10%

  • Degree or certifications or experience shall be considered
