Data Analyst

The Data Analyst will partner with business stakeholders and management to define problems, prioritize user needs, and develop data-driven recommendations. This role involves analyzing historical business data, identifying root causes, building reports and dashboards, and presenting actionable insights to internal and external stakeholders., * Organize and facilitate meetings with key business stakeholders to understand underlying problems and desired outcomes.

• Work with management to identify and prioritize the needs of different business-user segments.
• Perform deep-dive analyses of business problems and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Identify problem statements and assemble supporting data for root-cause analysis.
• Build ad hoc and standardized reports and dashboards that enable consistent, data-driven decision-making.
• Develop statistical models based primarily on historical data, such as identifying high-performing products within the existing sales mix.
• Present reports and clearly communicate key findings to internal and external stakeholders.
• Recommend corrective user or business actions based on analytical findings.

• Proven experience with database design, data modeling, and SQL Server.
• Practical experience using business intelligence and analytics tools such as:
• SAS
• Tableau
• Cognos
• Spotfire
• Alteryx
• KNIME
• Prior experience building statistical models.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to convert complex data into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder-management and presentation skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Pay: $65.00 per hour
