IT Technician

Position Objective: To oversee the IT systems & infrastructure for the company. Assure the functionality of all networks, computers, telephones; safeguarding data and information and troubleshooting any/all issues., * Ability to handle IT support issues, support issues, technical issues, coding.

• Provide IT support to all agency locations including staff that may operate remotely.
• Provide Onboarding and training for all new staff members, including set and orientation.
• Maintain and set up hardware such as: printers, computers, equipment, & telephones
• Troubleshoot and configure customer service connection, VoIP, and IP related issues.
• Create IT policies and procedures by evaluating organization outcomes; identifying problems, evaluating trends; anticipating requirements.
• Verifies application results by conducting system and security audits.
• Work with various departments to create reports/forms, track data, automate information to assure efficiency.
• Support HHAexchange, Viventium,, Medtell as well as any other providers designated by Senior Management.
• Liaison with telephone vendor to resolve any telephone issues. Assure that telephones are forwarded to the After Hours on-call service, monitor on-call activity.
• Assist with any start up projects (i.e. clinical or operational) as requested.
• Maintain agency website.
• Assure security of all IT related systems; maintain HIPAA compliance as well as Cybersecurity.

• The ideal candidate for this position will have a bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• One year’s experience working with a Licensed Home Care Service Agency.
• Experience with HHA EXCHANGE PREFERRED
• Knowledge of home health agency regulations is desirable.
• Knowlegde of website design a plus
• Good organization, communication, and human relations skills are required. Self-motivation and independent decision-making skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively analyze and problem solve.
• Knowledge of IP subnetting, TCP/IT, UDP and protocols/applications such as ICMP, FTP, SSH, HTTP, NFS, iSCI
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Microsoft Endpoint Manager, PowerShell, Zoom, Jotform., * Licensed Home Care Service Agency.: 1 year (Required)
