IT Support Specialist

We are looking for a friendly and technically capable IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical assistance to employees and help keep business systems running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot hardware and software issues, support users, manage IT requests, and assist with maintaining a reliable and secure technology environment., * Provide first- and second-line technical support for hardware, software, systems, and user accounts.

• Diagnose and resolve IT issues through phone, email, remote support, and in-person assistance.
• Set up and configure computers, peripherals, applications, and user accounts.
• Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring issues are resolved within appropriate timescales.
• Assist with software updates, system maintenance, backups, and basic security procedures.
• Maintain IT documentation, equipment records, user guides, and support procedures.

• Previous experience in IT support, technical support, helpdesk, or a similar position is preferred.
• Good understanding of Windows, Microsoft 365, networking, hardware, and common business applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
• Organised and customer-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
• CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL, or another relevant IT qualification is desirable but not essential.
