Job description

Core4ce is seeking a skilled and mission-focused CNO Developer to join our team in Hanover, MD. In this role, you will support the development of mission-critical offensive cyber capabilities and contribute to advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) initiatives. You will work alongside a highly technical team to build next-generation solutions that support national security missions. **Responsibilities: **

  • Design and develop new hardware- or software-based Computer Network Operations (CNO) capabilities.
  • Perform design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging of software applications and systems.
  • Apply knowledge of networking and security concepts to support capability development.
  • Communicate technical progress, project status, and risks to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensure software quality and adherence to development standards. *This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current and active TS/SCI with Polygraph.
  • One of the following education/experience combinations:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of technical work experience
  • Master’s degree and 2+ years of technical work experience
  • High school diploma and 8+ years of technical work experience
  • Experience programming in Python or C/C++.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain an additional polygraph prior to start, if required.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with networking protocols, including TCP/IP, and socket-level programming.
  • Experience developing CNO capabilities.
  • Experience with low-level system internals across one or more platforms, such as:
  • Windows, Unix, Mobile, Network devices
  • Experience in software analysis or reverse engineering.
  • Experience using Atlassian tools, including:
  • JIRA, Confluence, Crucible
  • Understanding of assembly language programming concepts.
  • Familiarity with unit testing frameworks and software testing best practices.
