Job description

Our client is an established manufacturing company seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This role is central to driving process improvement, production efficiency, and product quality across the facility. The ideal candidate brings hands-on manufacturing engineering experience and a strong foundation in lean methodologies and continuous improvement., * Develop, evaluate, and refine manufacturing processes to meet product specifications and performance targets.

  • Analyze workflow, staffing utilization, and facility layout to drive efficiency improvements.
  • Design equipment layouts and production systems that support safe, high-quality, and cost-effective operations.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, including Operator Work Instructions and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
  • Validate process capabilities and establish quality standards to ensure consistent output.
  • Collaborate with engineering, planning, and design teams to support manufacturability and efficient production methods.
  • Partner with vendors to source and implement manufacturing equipment, materials, and components.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, throughput, and product quality.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Vendor relationship building?, Do you have a Associate’s degree?, * Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience; 5+ years preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
  • Experience supporting new product launches or production line startups is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems.
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain process documentation and quality standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, production, and planning teams.
