Cloud Specialist

We’re looking to register talented cloud specialists for an exciting opportunity in Manchester. This contract role could involve designing, building and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure to support modern application delivery. If you’re experienced in cloud platforms, containerisation and infrastructure automation, we’d like to hear from you., This is an opportunity to register your interest in future Cloud Specialist contract roles based in Manchester, Greater Manchester, England. Roles of this type may sit within organisations modernising their infrastructure and application delivery through cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices. You could be working on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP, alongside containerisation tools like Kubernetes and Docker, to build resilient, scalable solutions., * Designing and implementing cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS or GCP

• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing
• Working with containerisation technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker to orchestrate applications
• Collaborating with development teams to support microservices and distributed system architectures
• Managing infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform
• Monitoring, troubleshooting and optimising cloud platform performance
• Supporting application deployment across on-premises and cloud environments
• Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing across the team

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP)
• Working knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tooling
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools
• Understanding of networking, including DMZ architecture and security best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Right to work in the United Kingdom

Nice-to-have

• Master’s degree
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate certification or equivalent
• Experience with multiple cloud platforms
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems
• Exposure to data pipeline tools and data quality practices
• Scripting experience in Bash, Python or similar languages
