IT Support Specialist

As an IT Support Specialist at GSG, you will be the frontline hero for our technical ecosystem, providing top-tier assistance to our internal teams and clients alike.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Provide first- and second-level IT support (1st/2nd Level) for hardware, software, network, and mobile device issues.
• System Administration: Manage, configure, and maintain user accounts, software licenses, and IT assets using modern directory services and MDM tools.
• Onboarding & Setup: Prepare, deploy, and configure workstations and laptops for new employees, ensuring a smooth technical start.
• Documentation & Knowledge Base: Create clear troubleshooting guides, FAQs, and IT documentation to streamline future resolutions and improve team efficiency.
• Security & Maintenance: Assist in executing regular software updates, security patches, data backups, and infrastructure monitoring.

• Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in IT support, helpdesk administration, or a similar technical service role.
• Technical Toolkit: Solid foundational knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems, active directory/Azure AD, and basic networking (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS).
• Problem-Solving Mindset: A sharp analytical eye, patience, and a customer-centric approach to troubleshooting technical roadblocks.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in German (C1/C2) and professional proficiency in English for international collaboration.
• Education: A degree in Computer Science, relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft Certified), or equivalent practical experience.
