PC Support Technician

The PC Refresh Technician supports the enterprise PC refresh program by preparing, imaging, deploying, configuring, and validating end-user devices. This includes hardware setup, software deployment, application configuration, data migration, and user support. The technician ensures refreshed devices meet company standards and are fully operational at handoff., * Device Imaging - Configure and image Windows 11 devices using company-approved tools (SCCM, MECM Autopilot)

• Hardware Deployment - Stage, deploy, and validate new laptops/desktops for end users.
• Software Deployment - Deploy required applications using enterprise tools and validate successful installation.
• User Data Migration - Assist with data backup, transfer, and profile setup.
• On-site Support - Provide desk-side assistance during refresh events, including peripheral setup and basic troubleshooting.
• Asset Tracking - Update asset records, tag devices, and ensure accurate inventory documentation.
• Device Retirement - Wipe, decommission, and prepare old hardware for disposal or recycling.
• Customer Service - Communicate clearly with end users, schedule appointments, and ensure a positive refresh experience.

• 1-3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or hardware deployment.
• Strong understanding of Windows 10/11, device imaging, and basic networking.
• Experience with enterprise tools such as SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, or similar.
• Ability to lift and move equipment (up to ~40 lbs).
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy., * IT support: 1 year (Required)
