As an IT Support Specialist, youâll be a frontline resource for end-user support-handling tickets, troubleshooting Windows and Microsoft 365 issues, and keeping laptops, desktops, printers, and peripherals running smoothly. The IT Support Specialist works in a team environment with clear processes, escalation paths, and plenty of hands-on exposure to endpoint management, access support, and continuous improvement., * 1+ year of experience in help desk, service desk, desktop support, or IT support
- Strong troubleshooting ability across:
- Windows PCs/laptops, peripherals, printing, and basic connectivity
- Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, Word/Excel) and common browsers
- Professional customer support skills (clear communication with technical and non-technical users)
- Ticket documentation discipline: capturing steps taken, outcomes, and next actions
- Comfort following standard procedures for access requests and security practices, * Exposure to an IT service management platform (ex: ServiceNow or similar)
- Endpoint management experience (ex: Intune, Tanium, or similar tools)
- Basic familiarity with directory/access concepts (ex: Active Directory / Entra ID)
- Experience supporting a regulated or process-driven environment
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate degree (or higher) in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience supporting users in a professional, multi-user environment
Other Requirements
- Relevant certifications are a plus (CompTIA A+ / Network+ or Microsoft-related certs)
- Ability to manage multiple tickets while providing timely status updates and clean documentation
