Job description

We provide sustainable, accessible, and high-performing transit solutions. The IT Manager reports directly to the Regional Director of Information Technology and serves as the primary leader for local infrastructure, end-user support operations, system reliability, and technology initiative execution. This role bridges daily site operations, enterprise network management, and corporate IT strategy by maintaining secure systems, managing local IT assets, overseeing vendor services, and executing technology projects. Working closely with local leadership, site technicians, and corporate IT teams, the IT Manager ensures seamless connectivity, operational uptime, and efficient technology support across all facilities., * Provide oversight of local network infrastructure, Wi-Fi, servers, telecommunications, and connected devices to maximize system uptime.

  • Lead IT migrations, system deployments, and network upgrades while providing status updates to leadership.
  • Manage cybersecurity protocols, Active Directory access, and sensitive infrastructure information.
  • Manage the lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory, asset tagging, provisioning, and hardware organization.
  • Receive, verify, and stage IT equipment for deployment.
  • Ensure all incidents, equipment assignments, and software changes are documented within the ITSM platform.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for local technical support.
  • Generate and distribute operational, system, and fleet technology reports.
  • Maintain system documentation, network diagrams, and user access records.
  • Coordinate IT purchasing, software licensing, and vendor relationships.
  • Conduct cybersecurity and technology audits to ensure compliance.
  • Maintain hardware disposal records and support data privacy and environmental compliance.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of IT support or technical operations experience, preferably in a fleet, logistics, or multi-site environment.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure/AWS, MDM, VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, and ITSM platforms.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Valid Driver’s License required. CompTIA, CCNA, ITIL, Microsoft, or similar certifications preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is performed in office environments, server rooms, and active operations facilities
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
