Job description

We’re looking for a seasoned Senior Salesforce Administrator to serve as a key steward of our Salesforce ecosystem. In this role, you’ll own platform stability, scalability, and usability-balancing day-to-day operational support with strategic enhancements that move the business forward.

You’ll thrive here if you enjoy untangling complex problems, improving systems through thoughtful configuration, and supporting a steady stream of users who rely on Salesforce to do their best work. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our Salesforce platform remains reliable, secure, and aligned with evolving business needs.

What You’ll Do

Salesforce Platform Ownership

  • Administer Salesforce security and access models, including users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules, ensuring compliance with governance and security standards.
  • Design, configure, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions using declarative tools such as Flow, validation rules, custom objects, and page layouts.
  • Configure and support Salesforce Field Service, including Field Service Mobile (FSM), ensuring optimal usability for field technicians and alignment with operational workflows.
  • Actively monitor platform health and performance, proactively recommending improvements to automation, stability, and user experience.

Support & Troubleshooting

  • Serve as an advanced support resource for Salesforce-related issues, resolving complex cases through structured investigation and root-cause analysis.
  • Function as an escalation point for high-impact or technically challenging problems, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication with stakeholders.
  • Provide high-volume end user support, managing a steady intake of requests across multiple business units while maintaining strong SLAs and user satisfaction.
  • Manage support requests efficiently while maintaining quality documentation and resolution standards.

Delivery & Collaboration

  • Participate in Agile delivery activities including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and sprint reviews, contributing technical input to ensure successful delivery of enhancements.
  • Partner closely with business and technology teams to translate requirements into practical, well-architected Salesforce solutions.
  • Support testing, deployments, and post-release validation activities as part of the broader Salesforce SDLC.

Documentation & Enablement

  • Maintain detailed system documentation, configuration records, and metadata tracking to support long-term maintainability and auditability.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to other Salesforce Administrators, helping raise the overall quality and consistency of platform configurations.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases and new capabilities, assessing and recommending features that align with platform strategy and business goals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (required)
  • Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Field Service certifications (preferred)

Experience & Technical Skills

  • 5-7 years of hands-on Salesforce administration experience in an enterprise-scale environment
  • Deep experience with Salesforce Flow (record-triggered, screen, scheduled), data modeling, security architecture, and validation logic
  • Strong functional knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Salesforce Field Service, including configuration of Field Service Mobile (FSM)
  • Proven experience supporting high-volume end user environments, including case intake, prioritization, and SLA-driven resolution
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, design limits, and best practices
  • Experience supporting Agile delivery teams and working within structured SDLC and release management processes
  • Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps tools (e.g., Gearset or similar)
