Job description
Our client is seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician III to provide advanced desktop support within a large enterprise environment supporting more than 10,000 users and 9,000+ devices. This role combines high-level technical support responsibilities with project-based work and requires someone who can effectively manage both day-to-day support activities and longer-term initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, experience supporting Windows environments, and a customer-focused approach to resolving technical issues., * Provide Tier 3 support for workstation hardware and software issues
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware
- Support peripheral devices including printers, scanners, and related equipment
- Manage and resolve incidents and service requests within established service levels
- Assist with desktop and infrastructure-related projects as a technical resource
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and support activities
- Collaborate with team members while also working independently on assigned tasks
- Deliver professional and effective communication to end users and stakeholders
Requirements
- 5+ years of Tier 3 desktop support experience
- 5+ years of experience supporting workstation hardware and software
- 5+ years of incident and service request management experience
- 5+ years of customer-facing technical support experience
- Strong experience with:
- Windows 11
- Active Directory
- Hardware troubleshooting and support
- PowerShell
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance project work alongside operational support responsibilities, * Experience packaging applications for enterprise deployment using tools such as SCCM, MECM, Ivanti, or similar solutions
- Patch management experience
- Operating system imaging and deployment experience
- Learning Management System (LMS) support experience
- Google Workspace administration or support experience
- Microsoft Group Policy (GPO) experience
- Experience supporting large enterprise environments
Technical Environment
- Windows 11
- Active Directory
- PowerShell
- Enterprise desktop management tools
- Printers, scanners, and peripheral devices
- SCCM/MECM, Ivanti, or similar deployment tools

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
