Job description

  • Design, build, configure, test, and maintain Epic OpTime and Anesthesia applications
  • Analyze business and clinical requirements and translate them into effective Epic application solutions
  • Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for end users
  • Support third-party integrations and coordinate with external vendors as needed
  • Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to evaluate and improve workflows
  • Identify opportunities to optimize Epic applications, system functionality, and overall performance
  • Develop and maintain application documentation, reports, testing plans, and workflow specifications
  • Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and system optimization initiatives
  • Support project implementations and go-live activities across operating room locations
  • Conduct application testing, including unit, integrated, and end-user testing
  • Provide education and support to end users when needed
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of complex application issues
  • Maintain appropriate documentation related to system configuration, testing, and support activities

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have strong Epic application experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, IT professionals, and third-party vendors., * Minimum 3 years of Epic application analyst experience

  • Epic OpTime Certification required
  • Epic Anesthesia Certification is a plus
  • Experience with Epic application configuration, testing, and support
  • Experience working with third-party integrations and healthcare vendors
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows, preferably within an operating room or perioperative environment
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with clinical staff, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders
  • Healthcare clinical or business experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
