Job description
- Design, build, configure, test, and maintain Epic OpTime and Anesthesia applications
- Analyze business and clinical requirements and translate them into effective Epic application solutions
- Provide ongoing application support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for end users
- Support third-party integrations and coordinate with external vendors as needed
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to evaluate and improve workflows
- Identify opportunities to optimize Epic applications, system functionality, and overall performance
- Develop and maintain application documentation, reports, testing plans, and workflow specifications
- Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, implementations, and system optimization initiatives
- Support project implementations and go-live activities across operating room locations
- Conduct application testing, including unit, integrated, and end-user testing
- Provide education and support to end users when needed
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of complex application issues
- Maintain appropriate documentation related to system configuration, testing, and support activities
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have strong Epic application experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clinical teams, IT professionals, and third-party vendors., * Minimum 3 years of Epic application analyst experience
- Epic OpTime Certification required
- Epic Anesthesia Certification is a plus
- Experience with Epic application configuration, testing, and support
- Experience working with third-party integrations and healthcare vendors
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows, preferably within an operating room or perioperative environment
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively with clinical staff, IT teams, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Healthcare clinical or business experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
