- Conduct on-site product presentations and demonstrations
- Develop business within assigned accounts and generate new opportunities
- Communicate product benefits and support proposal and order discussions
- Maintain a structured call schedule for territory coverage
- Use CRM tools to manage pipelines and improve sales effectiveness
- Maintain accurate documentation (calls, expenses, invoices, etc.)
- Provide information for client proposals and responses
- Gather customer insights and share market observations
- Stay informed on products, services, competitors, and industry trends
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
The Sales System Specialist is responsible for achieving opportunity-based sales quotas through effective territory management, customer engagement, and development of long-term client relationships. This role requires strong presentation skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent the company with integrity., * Strong customer service orientation and ability to respond promptly to customer needs.
- Understanding of systems troubleshooting and the value of effective service practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM platforms.
- Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and maintain professionalism in customer-facing situations.
- Mechanical Engineering degree preferred., * Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years of industrial sales experience; experience in Compressed Air or HVAC industries preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to travel within the assigned territory and attend occasional training events.
- Valid driver’s license required.
