Data & Imaging Production Specialist

• Back up and organize photography jobs and image files
• Crop images according to production standards
• Perform color balancing and basic image corrections
• Knock out/remove backgrounds from images as needed
• Review images for quality, consistency, and accuracy
• Prepare and generate final school export files
• Create picture proofs that are sent home to parents
• Verify that student images and information are matched correctly
• Launch email campaigns associated with picture proofs and school photography programs
• Perform quality-control checks throughout the production process
• Identify and correct errors before jobs are released or delivered
• Maintain organized files and follow established production workflows

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Data & Imaging Department. This person will play an important role in preparing photography jobs for production and ensuring that images, data, proofs, and school deliverables are accurate and completed on time., The ideal candidate is extremely detail-oriented and comfortable working with both images and data. Small mistakes can have a significant impact, so this person should take pride in checking their work and getting things right the first time.

• Comfortable working on a computer for extended periods
• Able to manage multiple jobs and deadlines
• Comfortable performing repetitive production tasks while maintaining accuracy
• Able to follow established processes and procedures
• Willing to learn new software and production systems
• Able to work independently while also being part of a production team

Helpful Experience

Experience in photography, photo editing, Photoshop, image processing, data management, email marketing, or school photography production is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

More important than previous photography experience is someone who is organized, technically comfortable, dependable, and exceptionally attentive to detail.
