WMS Systems Administrator (Mantis WMS)

This person will be the primary technical owner and SME for the company’s Mantis Warehouse Management System. The role sits between IT, warehouse operations, and software development, ensuring warehouse systems remain stable, healthy, and operational while supporting end users and troubleshooting data flow issues.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support the Mantis WMS platform.

• Monitor system health and troubleshoot issues impacting warehouse operations.

• Investigate transaction failures, data flow issues, and integration problems.

• Work directly with warehouse users to resolve tickets and support requests.

• Interface with developers, operations teams, and IT infrastructure teams.

• Analyze backend data issues and determine root cause.

• Manage user access, configurations, and system maintenance.

• Help transition ownership from current team members and become the primary Mantis SME.

• 5-7+ years supporting a Warehouse Management System.

• Experience administering a major WMS platform:

o Mantis WMS preferred

o Manhattan Associates

o Blue Yonder/JDA

o SAP WM/EWM

• Strong troubleshooting mindset.

• Experience working directly with warehouse operations teams.

SQL Expectations

• Light to moderate SQL.

• Ability to query databases for root-cause analysis.

• Investigate data and transaction failures.

• Validate records and troubleshoot integrations.

• No need for advanced development skills.

• No heavy stored procedures or database development.

XML / Data Flow Knowledge

• Basic XML understanding.

• Understanding of integrations and data movement between systems.

• Ability to investigate interface failures and messaging issues. o Mantis WMS preferred
