In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to plan, execute, and document system-level integration and testing activities, ensuring products meet technical, performance, quality, and customer requirements.
You will play a key role in developing test strategies, troubleshooting system issues, analyzing results, and driving successful product validation throughout the development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
Plan, develop, implement, and maintain integration and test solutions for complex systems, subsystems, hardware, software, and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components.
Translate product, customer, and stakeholder requirements into comprehensive test strategies while balancing technical, schedule, and cost considerations.
Develop and execute Design Verification Testing (DVT) activities to validate electrical and electronic system performance.
Create detailed test plans, test procedures, test scripts, execution schedules, and test reports.
Define test methodologies, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria for system and subsystem validation.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and interface integration issues.
Coordinate integration and testing activities across engineering, program management, and other stakeholder groups.
Conduct system-level verification and validation testing to ensure compliance with requirements and performance objectives.
Analyze test data, identify root causes of failures, and provide actionable recommendations.
Generate discrepancy reports, track defects, and support corrective action verification through regression testing.
Prepare technical documentation and present test results to customers, leadership, and key stakeholders.
Support Environmental Stress Screening (ESS) and reliability testing activities as required.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Systems Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
6+ years of experience in system integration, verification, validation, and testing of electrical or electronic products.
6+ years of experience developing and executing test plans, procedures, and validation strategies.
Strong experience with Design Verification Testing (DVT) methodologies.
Hands-on experience with electronic and electrical testing techniques, equipment, and troubleshooting.
Proven ability to develop test schedules, execute complex test campaigns, and generate comprehensive test documentation.
Experience analyzing test results and validating product performance against requirements.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Environmental Stress Screening (ESS), environmental testing, and reliability validation.
Knowledge of systems engineering principles and requirements traceability.
Experience with automated test systems and data acquisition tools.
Familiarity with hardware/software integration and system-level debugging.
Background in defense, aerospace, telecommunications, industrial electronics, or other high-reliability engineering environments.
