Full-Stack Web and Mobile App Developer

We are seeking an experienced full-stack developer for a short-term healthcare technology project. This is an approximately two-week contract requiring about 40 hours per week. The developer will build a functional, user-friendly healthcare information website and companion mobile app, integrate one or more third-party commercial data services, and implement appropriate security and privacy safeguards for handling healthcare information. This position is remote-friendly.

Candidates based in Central Florida, particularly the Orlando area, are strongly preferred and may be asked to participate in occasional in-person check-ins.

Required Qualifications - Proven experience building both websites and mobile applications - Portfolio or examples of relevant completed projects - Experience integrating third-party APIs, commercial data services, or external data feeds into web or mobile products - Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and healthcare data security best practices - Ability to work independently and move quickly on a compressed project timeline - Strong communication skills and willingness to provide frequent progress updates

Responsibilities - Build a functional, user-friendly website and companion mobile app for delivering healthcare information - Integrate one or more third-party commercial data services that feed information into the website and app - Implement security and privacy safeguards appropriate for handling healthcare information and consistent with HIPAA requirements - Set up secure data storage, transmission, and access controls - Test website and mobile app functionality, security features, and data integrations before handoff - Communicate progress regularly throughout the short project timeline

Preferred Qualifications - Prior experience with healthcare or medical information platforms - Experience with HIPAA-compliant hosting or cloud environments - Familiarity with healthcare interoperability or data standards, including HL7 or FHIR, when applicable to the data sources involved
