IT Support Specialist/Computer Technician

Provide onsite Tier 2 deskside IT support at the Engine Works (EW) facility. Support end users, hardware, software, printers, ServiceNow tickets, computer imaging, asset management, and standard IT processes., * Resolve Tier 2 desktop and end-user issues using established procedures and KB articles.

• Image computers, replace printer supplies, troubleshoot hardware/software, and manage IT assets.
• Resolve and document ServiceNow tickets and update asset/inventory records.
• Provide email, documentation, process tracking, and basic administrative support.
• Identify issues outside standard procedures and escalate appropriately.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, inventory, and service records.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for printers, networking, and desktop applications.
• Participate in weekend on-call rotation; overtime may be available.
• Travel between Waterloo-area locations may occasionally be required.

• 1+ year of IT support experience preferred; recent IT graduates may be considered.
• Knowledge of desktop computing, networking, and basic security concepts.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, internet, and intranet applications.
• High School diploma required; IT-related degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Metatarsal safety boots required on the first day.
