Fortinet Engineer

• Deploy Fortinet solutions in customer environments
• Support network migrations and infrastructure upgrades
• Implement new customer environments from start to finish
• Convert environments from Cisco and other vendors to Fortinet
• Read and execute project scopes accurately
• Work directly with customers during implementation projects
• Collaborate with project and practice managers
• Travel to customer sites as needed, * This is a direct hire role with ongoing project work.
• Houston-based candidates may have more local project opportunities.
• Remote candidates should expect increased travel.
• Typical travel is domestic and project-based.
• Support and monitoring are handled by a separate team.

• Strong hands-on Fortinet experience across the platform
• Fortinet certification with NSE 6 as a target level
• Experience with FortiGate and FortiManager
• Background in networking, routing, and switching
• Experience implementing enterprise network solutions
• Customer-facing consulting or project delivery experience
• Ability to support deployment-focused engagements
• Strong communication and professional presence

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Cisco experience in mixed-vendor environments
• Additional firewall platform experience
• CCNP certification
• CCIE certification
• Experience leading deployments
• Solution design or architecture experience
• Experience working on large rollout projects
