IT Support Specialist (manufacturing environment)

The IMS Technician will be responsible for assisting the Senior IMS Analyst with day-to-day activites supporting the Newton Cable Plant. Day to Day Responsibilities Interact with customer to gather and define system/solution requirements Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IMS devices, printers, scan guns, servers, etc. Review and update document repository in Sharepoint for AI enablement Troubleshoot hardware and software problems that may have a significant impact on the business Support IMS projects

2 year degree in computer science or related field 2+ years experience in an IT support role, including experience supporting hardware and software components, Understanding of server and network infrastructure Microsoft 365 including Sharepoint and OneNote Cybersecurity mindset Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and management Pervious experience in a manufacutring environment preferred
