Manufacturing IT Support Specialist

Spherion Staffing is seeking a motivated IT Support Specialist for one of our manufacturing clients in Cantonment, FL. • Troubleshoot Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and peripheral devices.
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and business applications.
• Create and manage user accounts in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding, including user access and permissions.
• Track, document, and prioritize support requests through the IT ticketing system.
• Perform preventative maintenance and ensure systems remain secure, updated, and backed up.
• Support IT security initiatives and assist with disaster recovery processes.
• Escalate complex technical issues when needed while providing excellent customer service.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or 3-4 years of hands-on IT support experience.

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Working knowledge of Active Directory.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking.
• Experience supporting PC hardware, printers, and common office software.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and maintain accurate documentation.

Preferred:

• Experience supporting a manufacturing environment.
• CompTIA A+ Certification.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfortable working in both office and manufacturing environments.
• Occasional after-hours support may be required for system maintenance and updates.
