Job description

The Role: We are seeking a hardworking, positive team player who is a self-starter and ambitious, with a passion for helping others and their team. This role is an hourly, full-time position that will require dedication and commitment.

As a key member of our team, you will provide hands-on job site leadership, working closely with the team to resolve water, mold, smoke, fire, and other restoration issues while maintaining exceptional customer service. You will report directly to the General Manager of Connecticut., * Set up and break down job sites

  • Execute water mitigation, mold remediation, and smoke/fire remediation
  • Maintain vehicle and equipment in clean, safe, and ready condition
  • Perform demolition of affected building materials
  • Report into pre/post job briefings
  • Complete physical and electronic paperwork, forms, and checklists
  • Safely travel to and from job sites
  • Perform other tasks as needed to support the business

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with tools
  • Valid driver’s license & satisfactory driving record
  • Comfortable with technology (computers, smartphones, tablets)
  • Positive attitude & strong team player
  • Eager to learn and grow
  • Ability to lead a team
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Strong organizational, time-management, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Prior experience in restoration, mold remediation, or water mitigation

A Plus:

  • 2+ years mitigation experience a plus
  • IICRC certifications, safety training, or other related licensing
  • Experience with power tools/instruments/devices

Strong Plus:

  • Maintenance, mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, construction, or other handywork experience
  • Leadership or prior supervisory experience
  • Multilingual skills, * Ability to travel locally
  • Willingness to work in challenging conditions
  • Flexible hours, including weekends for emergency water jobs
  • Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces
  • Ability to walk, stand, and sit for long periods of time
  • Perform repetitive physical tasks including lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Follow instructions and problem-solve effectively
  • Independently perform remediation tasks while providing excellent customer service
