Job description

Encode and transcode media files to various formats and resolutions

  • Ensure the quality and integrity of media files during the encoding process

  • Collaborate with Customer Service and the Digitization Team to understand project requirements and deliverables

  • Monitor and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the encoding process

  • Data Managment & Hard Drive Formatting

  • Maintain accurate documentation of encoding settings and processes

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in encoding technologies

Requirements

Proficient in using DaVinci Resolve

  • Strong understanding of video and audio codecs, formats, and standards

  • Familiarity with different video file types (e.g., MP4, MOV, DPX, MKV) and their specifications

  • Knowledge of video compression techniques and optimization strategies

  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
