IT Manager - IT Business Resiliency

As an IT manager of the IT Business Resiliency Services team, you’ll lead the team responsible for advancing the three pillars of IT Resiliency at Progressive - High Availability, Disaster Recovery and Cyber Resiliency. Your team will consist of 10 - 12 systems engineers, analysts and software developers who design, implement, and maintain robust disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks. Your team will deliver IT resiliency capabilities across on-prem, cloud, vendor, and SaaS solutions, strengthening our ability to resist disruption and recover rapidly with minimal impact through modern, industry-informed resiliency practices.

• Minimum 4 years of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.
• {OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of 1 year of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery.

• Proven track record of high performance as an IT manager with strong learning agility and the ability to navigate ambiguity
• Demonstrated success as a people leader with the ability to coach and develop others while creating a high-performance teams based on a culture of trust
• Ability to Implement continuous improvements and to influence others at both Senior Manager and peer levels
• Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated success in building partnerships with peers and with IT and business partners
• Experience utilizing Lean and Agile methodologies and leading Agile teams
