Job description
As an IT quality assurance analyst lead in Commercial Lines Small Business Insurance (SBI) group, you’ll play a key role in shaping and advancing quality practices across a critical technology workstream. Using your expertise in testing strategy, quality metrics, and risk management, you’ll lead strategic quality initiatives, establish meaningful reporting and audit processes, and drive continuous improvement across the testing lifecycle. You’ll partner closely with test leaders, product owners, automation teams, and other stakeholders to strengthen testing standards, improve testing maturity, and address delivery risks. In this role, you’ll mentor and develop team members, provide guidance on complex initiatives, analyze production trends and defects to identify opportunities for improvement, support project planning through testing estimates and strategy development, and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure high-quality solutions that support business objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 9 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
- {OR} the completion of a technical training program and a minimum of 6 years of related work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
- OR} Bachelor’s degree or higher in a Business or Information Technology discipline or related field of study and a minimum of 6 years of work experience analyzing, testing, and implementing business system changes or user acceptance testing.
Preferred Skills
- Experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst Lead developing and executing enterprise testing strategies, quality frameworks, and risk management practices. Also, Property and Casualty insurance experience.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, quality metrics, audit processes, and defect management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders across multiple teams and disciplines.
- Experience mentoring, coaching, and developing testing professionals while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with experience supporting complex technology initiatives in Agile environments., Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without the need or potential need, of current or future sponsorship for employment.
