Job description

APC is seeking an individual who is eager to learn, develop, and grow and help us contribute to our overall mission to empower Providers to deliver exceptional patient care., The Systems Administrator is responsible for the design, deployment, maintenance, upgrade, and management of software, hardware, and networks for the organization. The goal will be to ensure that our technology infrastructure is sufficient to function smoothly and efficiently and appropriately secured., * Install and configure software and hardware.

  • Manage network servers and technology tools.
  • Set up accounts and workstations.
  • Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
  • Troubleshoot issues and outages.
  • Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
  • Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
  • Create and update internal technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
  • Conduct regular system audits.
  • Assist with the development of disaster recovery plans.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
  • Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
  • Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
  • Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms (Windows Server, Linux/Unix, etc.).
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A minimum of [5 years] experience in system and network administration.
  • Certifications like MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or similar are a plus.

Our goal at American Pain Consortium is to support our clinics that help patients seeking relief from pain, numbness, and tingling sensations that are often related to neuropathic pain or neuropathy, among many other forms of chronic pain.
