Job description
We’re seeking a hands-on IT Support Specialist to manage our internal technology operations - from employee onboarding/offboarding to hardware asset management to administering and optimizing our legal practice software (Lawmatics, Docketwise, and MyCase). This is a great fit for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats: part help desk, part systems administrator, part legal-tech power user.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Offboarding

Set up new hire accounts, hardware, email, and system access (including Lawmatics/Docketwise/MyCase user profiles and permissions)

Conduct IT orientation for new employees

Manage secure offboarding: account deactivation, equipment retrieval, access revocation across all platforms
Hardware & Asset Management
-
Maintain an accurate inventory of all PCs, laptops, monitors, phones, and peripherals

Track asset lifecycle: procurement, deployment, maintenance, retirement
-
Coordinate repairs, warranty claims, and vendor relationships

Manage software licensing and compliance records
Legal Software Administration & Automation

Serve as in-house admin for Lawmatics, Docketwise, and MyCase
-
Build and maintain automations and workflows within and across these platforms (intake sequences, status updates, document triggers, task assignments, etc.)

Manage integrations between Lawmatics, Docketwise, MyCase, and other firm systems (email, calendar, e-signature, document management)
-
Train attorneys and staff on proper platform usage; troubleshoot user issues

Evaluate and recommend additional automation opportunities to reduce manual work (e.g., Zapier or native integrations)

Maintain data hygiene and reporting/dashboards across systems
Requirements
-
2+ years in an IT support or systems administration role, ideally in a law firm or professional services environment
-
Hands-on experience with Lawmatics, Docketwise, and/or MyCase strongly preferred (or comparable legal practice management/CRM software)

Experience building automations/workflows within SaaS platforms

Strong understanding of hardware asset tracking and inventory management

Familiarity with onboarding/offboarding security best practices

Excellent communication skills - comfortable supporting non-technical attorneys and staff
Nice to Have

Experience with Trainual or similar onboarding/training platforms

Zapier, Power Automate, or API-based integration experience

Immigration or civil litigation practice background (helps with Docketwise workflows specifically
