Utility Field Technician (CCTV & Sewer Jetting Support)

At Solutions By JAW, LLC, we build strong teams that deliver quality work safely and efficiently. We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined, and field-focused professional to join our sewer inspection and cleaning operations crew.

This is not a general labor position.

This role is the operational backbone of a three-person field crew and works directly alongside a CCTV Operator and Jetter Operator to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems in the field, operating around specialized equipment, and contributing to a high-performing team, we want to hear from you., The Utility Field Technician supports underground utility inspection and cleaning operations by assisting both CCTV and jetting activities. This position is responsible for job site setup, equipment preparation, traffic control, field coordination, inspection support, and maintaining safe and productive operations throughout each project., Field Operations

• Support daily CCTV inspection and jetting operations
• Locate and prepare manholes and access points
• Establish and maintain traffic control and safe work zones
• Assist with setup, operation, movement, and retrieval of cameras and cleaning equipment
• Stage tools and maintain efficient job flow throughout the workday
• Monitor work areas and maintain safe operating conditions

Equipment & Maintenance

• Perform daily inspections of trucks, cameras, hoses, reels, and support equipment
• Clean, maintain, and organize field equipment
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor field repairs
• Report equipment concerns to minimize downtime

Crew Support

• Coordinate closely with the CCTV Operator and Jetter Operator
• Help maintain production schedules and project efficiency
• Communicate effectively in changing field conditions
• Support a culture of accountability, safety, and quality workmanship

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in underground utilities, sewer operations, construction field services, pipeline inspection, hydro excavation, or related utility environments., * Experience in underground utilities, sewer operations, construction, pipeline inspection, or related field work preferred

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn specialized equipment
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work around underground access points
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Strong work ethic and team mindset, License/Certification:
• driver’s license (Required)
