Data Analyst

• Develop, maintain, and optimize data models and databases to support business intelligence initiatives.
• Design and implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure accurate and efficient data integration from multiple sources.
• Create compelling dashboards and reports using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to visualize key metrics.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis using R, Python, Excel data analysis techniques, and SQL queries to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and translate them into technical solutions.
• Conduct software development lifecycle analysis (SDLC) for data projects ensuring best practices in project management and agile methodologies.
• Support database design efforts for SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, ensuring data integrity and security.
• Utilize technical proficiency in tools such as Talend, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), Visio, and Linked Data concepts to streamline workflows.
• Develop dashboards and visualizations that facilitate business analysis and enable stakeholders to make informed decisions swiftly.
• Manage query performance and query management tasks to optimize data retrieval processes across various platforms.

• Experience with business intelligence concepts including dashboard development, reporting tools, and linked data integration.
• Ability to analyze requirements thoroughly through requirements analysis techniques; excellent analysis skills are a must.
• Experience working within Agile environments; project management skills are highly valued.
• Technical proficiency in VBA scripting for Excel automation; Bash (Unix shell) scripting is a plus.
• Knowledge of Visio for process modeling; familiarity with software development lifecycle analysis is advantageous.
