Job description

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL databases and data analytics tools to uncover trends and patterns.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports utilizing Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to communicate key findings effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for data models and visualizations.
  • Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to ensure data quality and consistency across multiple sources such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, Talend, and other SQL databases.
  • Conduct requirements analysis and participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) to support ongoing analytics projects within an Agile environment.
  • Develop data models and database designs that optimize query performance while supporting business intelligence initiatives.
  • Utilize programming languages like Python, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), and tools such as Visio for process mapping and automation tasks.

  • Strong experience with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and reporting/dashboarding platforms.
  • Knowledge of ETL processes using Talend or similar tools for data integration.
  • Technical proficiency in Python, R, VBA, Bash (Unix shell), enabling advanced analytics and automation.
  • Familiarity with SDLC methodologies and Agile project management practices for efficient project execution.
  • Expertise in business intelligence concepts such as linked data analysis, dashboard development, and technical analysis skills.
  • Ability to perform Excel data analysis combined with analysis skills for comprehensive insights delivery.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle analysis to support scalable analytics solutions.
  • Experience with Oracle databases, SQL Server environments, and query management best practices.
  • Strong business analysis skills to interpret requirements accurately and translate them into effective data solutions.
