Visual Edge IT is seeking a talented IT Systems Engineer - Microsoft & Cloud Infrastructure who is passionate about technology, thrives on solving complex technical challenges, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, supporting, and optimizing Microsoft cloud technologies while serving as a key escalation resource for advanced technical issues. You’ll work across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and supporting infrastructure while partnering with cybersecurity and IT leadership to ensure our environment remains secure, reliable, and scalable.

• Deploying, administering, and supporting Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and endpoint management solutions.
• Providing advanced Level II and Level III support for Microsoft 365 technologies, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and related cloud services.
• Troubleshooting complex infrastructure, networking, endpoint, and cloud-related issues while ensuring exceptional service delivery.
• Managing technical projects from planning through completion, keeping stakeholders informed and ensuring successful execution.
• Supporting IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices, including incident management, change management, documentation, and operational excellence.
• Partnering closely with cybersecurity leadership to support security initiatives, assist with incident response activities, and ensure technology solutions align with company security standards.
• Maintaining accurate documentation for systems, configurations, technical procedures, and project work.
• Collaborating with teammates across IT to resolve issues quickly, improve processes, and deliver an outstanding technology experience.
• Jumping in wherever needed to support the team-because at Visual Edge IT, no task is beneath anyone, and teamwork drives our success.

• 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure engineering.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills with the ability to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions across a variety of enterprise platforms and technologies. Strong proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, JavaScript, or similar is required. Experience automating administrative, operational, and integration tasks through APIs, SDKs, REST services, CLI tools, and orchestration platforms is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune, Microsoft Defender, and enterprise cloud technologies.
• Strong experience providing advanced support for the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• A solid foundation in networking, servers, endpoints, infrastructure, and enterprise IT environments beyond Microsoft technologies.
• Experience working with ITSM processes, ticketing platforms, change management, and incident management methodologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and technical projects.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach to technical support.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset with a willingness to take ownership and continuously improve.

Preferred Experience

• Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900, MS-900, MD-102, SC-200, or equivalent cloud and infrastructure certifications.
• Experience with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar enterprise ticketing solutions.
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices for service management.
• Experience supporting geographically distributed or remote workforces in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
