Chief Technology Officer

We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our organization’s technological strategy and innovation efforts. As a key member of the executive leadership team, the CTO will drive the development, implementation, and management of cutting-edge technology solutions that support our business objectives. This role involves overseeing IT infrastructure, software development, cybersecurity, and vendor relationships, ensuring our technology environment is robust, secure, and scalable. We are in the healthcare space, so all things tied to HIPPA, PHI, are important., * Develop and execute the organization’s overall technology strategy aligned with business goals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

• Lead the design, deployment, and maintenance of IT infrastructure including cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, virtualization environments like VMware and vSphere, and network systems involving Cisco routers, LAN/WAN configurations, and network security protocols.
• Oversee software development initiatives utilizing languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, HTML, .NET frameworks, and SQL databases including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Manage cybersecurity efforts by implementing best practices in information security standards such as PCI compliance, NIST standards, network security measures including firewalls and VPNs, and disaster recovery planning.
• Drive DevOps practices with CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployment processes while ensuring system stability through tools like PowerShell, SCCM, SolarWinds, and SharePoint.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams using project management tools such as Microsoft Project and Jira to prioritize initiatives effectively within an Agile environment.
• Cultivate vendor relationships for hardware and software procurement while overseeing vendor management processes to optimize costs and service quality.
• Lead IT support operations including help desk functions, remote access solutions, desktop support, system administration across Windows/Linux environments, and enterprise-wide IT governance.
• Promote a culture of innovation by evaluating emerging technologies that can enhance operational efficiency or create new business opportunities.

Do you have experience in Virtualization projects?, * Extensive experience in IT leadership roles with proven success managing complex technology environments at an enterprise level.

• Deep understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP protocols, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, VoIP systems, SAN storage solutions, SAN/NAS storage architectures, Citrix virtualization platforms, and SAN management.
• Hands-on expertise with cloud services such as AWS and Azure along with virtualization technologies like VMware vSphere.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages including JavaScript, Java, C#, Python; experience with HTML; database management skills in SQL Server and Oracle; familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) processes.
• Proficiency in managing enterprise security frameworks aligned with PCI standards and NIST guidelines; experience implementing network security measures such as firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale projects utilizing Agile methodologies; excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly across diverse audiences.
• Certifications related to system administration (e.g., Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), network engineering (e.g., Cisco CCNA/CCNP), cloud platforms (AWS Certified Solutions Architect), or cybersecurity are highly desirable.
• Strong analysis skills combined with leadership qualities necessary to guide teams through complex technical challenges while fostering innovation-driven environments.
