Product Technical Support Technician

This is a full-time, on-site position, based at the Florida Department of Health WIC EBT office. Work hours are Monday- Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Requires occasional flexibility to work past 5 PM based on business needs.

This role manages WIC vendor enrollment, compliance, and EBT operations by coordinating vendor onboarding, training, certification, and ongoing support. It analyzes transaction, inventory, and redemption data to identify compliance issues, fraud risks, and potential program abuse. The position conducts investigations, maintains critical vendor and program records, and works closely with vendors, agencies, and technology providers to resolve operational challenges. It also supports program integrity and vendor success through data analysis, reporting, supply-chain coordination, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You Will Be Doing:

• WIC EBT Vendor management
• Investigating WIC Recipient Fraud
• Performing WIC vendor audits
• Handling inquiries from WIC EBT recipients and WIC vendors

High School Diploma, * Ability to work with many personality types

• Skilled with computers and learning new software quickly
• Must be detailed oriented
• Associate’s/ Bachelor’s degree preferred or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience

About The Team:

FIS is contracted with the Florida Department of Health to provide EBT services for WIC. Included in this contract is the requirement to have 3 dedicated positions located in the FL WIC EBT office. One of the positions is a contracted position and the other two positions are FIS positions. One of the FIS positions is currently vacant, and that is the role we are looking to fill. The FIS manager of the team will be the FIS mentor of the team, and the FL WIC EBT managers will manage the position for day-to-day work.
