Job description
We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual IT Specialist to join our innovative technology team. In this role, you will serve as a key technical support resource, providing expert assistance in troubleshooting hardware and software issues across diverse operating systems such as Windows and Linux. Your bilingual skills will enable you to communicate effectively with a broad range of users. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to maintaining robust IT infrastructure, supporting end-users, and enhancing overall system performance through proactive problem-solving and technical expertise., * Troubleshoot computer hardware, software, network, and IT equipment issues.
- Provide technical support and respond to employee service requests.
- Manage and maintain firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi access points, VPNs, and network infrastructure.
- Support Windows Server, Linux, computers, servers, and network-attached storage systems.
- Monitor the operational status of networks, servers, NAS, backup systems, and security-monitoring tools.
- Assist with vulnerability remediation, system updates, cybersecurity reviews, and risk mitigation.
- Support firewall rule configuration, implementation, and ongoing maintenance.
- Support virtual machine environments using VMware ESXi and Proxmox VE.
- Manage data backup and recovery processes using Veeam, Veritas, and NAS storage.
- Conduct cybersecurity awareness activities and employee security training.
- Participate in IT asset inventories and equipment tracking.
- Support the implementation of departmental and company-wide IT projects.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and help desk systems for issue tracking and resolution management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field required.
- At least 2 years of relevant IT, network administration, system administration, or cybersecurity experience.
- Knowledge of routers, switches, WAN, LAN, VLAN, VPN, and IPSec environments.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet solutions, including FortiGate, FortiManager, or FortiAnalyzer, preferred., * Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service in a professional manner.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to work full-time on-site in Phoenix.
