Software Engineer 3 - Contingent

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance enterprise applications using Java technologies.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly front-end applications using React.
• Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka for real-time data processing.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and enhance existing legacy Java applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to technical decision-making.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
• Support deployment and production issue resolution as needed.

• Understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
• Experience with SQL and database design concepts.
• Experience in debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to read, understand, and modernize legacy Java codebases.

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
