IT Desktop Support

As a Junior IT Desktop Support professional , you’ll be the go-to person for providing friendly, professional, and effective support to our internal users. You’ll troubleshoot, solve problems, and learn something new every day while building a solid foundation for your IT career.

Eligibility : Applicants must be Australian citizens and be eligible to obtain and maintain an active Australian Government Defence security clearance at the level required for the position.

Technical skills:

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems
• Familiarity with MS Office and common applications
• Understanding of Windows Desktop, Server, networks, and hardware setup
• Exposure to troubleshooting hardware and software issues
• Awareness of VPN/remote access support
• Proficient in AI prompting as it applies to this position and practice.

Highly desired:

• Experience in a Service Desk or IT Support role
• Using service desk call logging tools
• Supporting executive or senior staff
• Networking and desktop troubleshooting skills
