Physical Security Systems Administrator(Mandarin Required)

We are seeking a Physical Security System & Data Specialist to support the daily operation, maintenance, and administration of enterprise physical security systems. This position will primarily support Lenel OnGuard access control and Avigilon video surveillance systems, ensuring that security equipment and related software remain stable, properly configured, and operational.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with access control systems, CCTV/video surveillance systems, system configuration, equipment troubleshooting, and basic networking. This role will also coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and regional stakeholders to resolve technical issues and support system-related projects., Service & Maintenance

• Assist the PSST System Specialist in troubleshooting Lenel OnGuard and Avigilon software, hardware, and system connectivity issues.
• Monitor the operational status of access control and video surveillance systems and promptly report or escalate system failures, device outages, and other security-related technical issues.
• Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating system software standards, technical guidelines, operating procedures, and SOPs.
• Create and maintain user accounts, process access approval requests, update access permissions, and troubleshoot account or access-related issues.
• Maintain holiday and time-zone schedules in Lenel OnGuard for the APAC, EMEA, and AMS regions.
• Ensure the stable operation of physical security system equipment by regularly checking device status, identifying abnormalities, and coordinating repairs or replacements when necessary.
• Maintain accurate equipment records, system documentation, password information, configuration details, and service or maintenance history.
• Coordinate the procurement, delivery, transportation, and tracking of physical security equipment and mobile device accessories.
• Support system configuration changes, firmware updates, software upgrades, device replacements, testing, and other security-system-related engineering work.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, site security teams, external vendors, and system integrators to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Document troubleshooting activities, system changes, test results, and completed maintenance work in accordance with established procedures.
• Provide occasional after-hours support for urgent system incidents, including access control failures, camera outages, alarm-related issues, and other operational disruptions.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with partner teams and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
• Fluency in both Mandarin and English is required, as this role will regularly communicate and coordinate with Mandarin-speaking internal teams, technical specialists, and stakeholders in the APAC region. The specialist must be able to clearly discuss technical issues, system configurations, troubleshooting progress, and operational requirements in both languages.
• Technical experience:

Senior Specialist: 4-6 years of experience in the configuration, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and management of access control systems and video surveillance systems, including CCTV. A minimum of two years of experience working directly on the client side is required.

Junior Specialist: 1-3 years of experience in the configuration, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and management of access control systems and video surveillance systems, including CCTV.

• Hands-on experience with physical security equipment, including access control panels, card readers, cameras, and related system components.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices, including password management, user access control, system security, and data protection.
• Basic understanding of site security operations and physical security procedures.
• Basic understanding of system networking, including IP addressing, network connectivity, and troubleshooting network-connected security devices.
• Ability to identify, document, escalate, and follow up on system issues until they are resolved.
• Lenel OnGuard certification at the Advanced Access level or higher and Avigilon certification are preferred., * configured or administered Lenel OnGuard?: 1 year (Required)
