Job description

The Warehouse Slotting Analyst will manage standard slotting projects using the Optislot tool along with various warehouse management system reports to improve efficiencies across the network. This position will be responsible for coordinating with Opco Ops teams to optimize the flow of product selection and ensure products are ergonomically slotted to reduce personal injury and product damage. Requires the ability to identify opportunities for slotting improvement along with effective communication with the Opcos to maximize the impact of each slotting project., * Independent management of slotting projects.

  • Coordinate with warehouse operations team to identify slotting needs and opportunities.
  • Compile and analyze Warehouse Management System (WMS) SKU data for accurate review of potential slotting opportunities.
  • Conduct slotting scenario testing using the Optislot tool.
  • Provide optimal slotting suggestions to the operations team that fit their needs and maximizes efficiency.
  • Effectively communicate the results of the slotting analysis and how to execute the solution.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED or equivalent required.

  • High level of Microsoft Office proficiency

  • At least one year of industrial warehouse settings preferred.

  • Must be able to obtain forklift and powered industrial truck certification.

  • Excellent organizational skills required.

  • Ability to work in a high speed, production-based environment, able to follow all safety protocols.

  • Ability to prioritize workload with ever changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing, ability to read, write and understand instructions and computerized reports and labels in English; recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.

  • Ability to stand and walk 90% of the shift. Repeatedly required to squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend.

  • Must be able to lift to 75 lbs. Ability to manually push/pull/move stacks of totes and product on skids weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to climb stairs.

  • Ability to move skids or product 400 pounds or more using pallet jack.

  • Able to work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
