Information Technology Epic Clarity Tools for Reporting

Job description

  • Develop, enhance, and deploy Custody-focused Epic reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions
  • Validate, modify, and document Radar automatic and custom SQL metrics
  • Design and develop SQL queries and stored procedures for clinical and operational reporting requirements
  • Create and maintain Epic Radar components using Cogito SQL reports and metric frameworks
  • Update dashboards, reports, and metrics based on evolving regulatory, operational, and business requirements
  • Lead reporting and analytics projects from requirements gathering through deployment and support
  • Facilitate meetings with Custody operations teams, clinical leadership, and stakeholders to gather and document reporting requirements
  • Provide project estimates, timelines, and status updates to stakeholders and management teams
  • Collaborate with Epic application teams and County stakeholders to validate workflows and ensure reporting accuracy
  • Support regulatory and compliance reporting activities by guiding users and agencies on reporting outputs and analytics usage
  • Follow enterprise SDLC standards for unit testing, peer reviews, SME validation, production migration, and documentation
  • Mentor junior developers, perform SQL code reviews, and promote reporting and analytics best practices
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues and optimize SQL queries and dashboard performance

Requirements

Do you have experience in User acceptance testing?, Do you have a Bachelor’s degree?, The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Epic Clarity Data Models, SQL development, Cogito reporting tools, and healthcare analytics, along with consultant-level communication and stakeholder management skills. The role requires experience following Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, validation, UAT, deployment, and documentation., * 5+ years of experience with Epic Clarity Data Model analytics development, including:

  • EpicCare Ambulatory
  • Epic Inpatient (IP)
  • Hands-on experience with SQL query development and stored procedure programming
  • Strong working knowledge of Epic reporting and analytics tools including:
  • Cogito SQL
  • Radar
  • SlicerDicer
  • Reporting Workbench
  • Experience creating Epic Radar dashboards using Cogito SQL, Metric Framework, SlicerDicer, or Reporting Workbench
  • Strong experience developing stored procedures and reporting solutions using Clarity data within healthcare environments
  • Experience supporting Epic Inpatient workflows including:
  • Admissions
  • Flowsheets
  • Discharge Medication Reconciliation
  • Quality metrics
  • Experience supporting Epic Ambulatory workflows including:
  • Visits
  • Consults
  • Orders
  • Groupers
  • Experience delivering Business Intelligence and reporting solutions within Custody/Jail healthcare environments
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work directly with clinical leaders, operations teams, project offices, and technical stakeholders
  • Ability to gather business requirements, document workflows, and translate requirements into scalable analytics solutions
  • Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting SQL code reviews and peer reviews
  • Strong understanding of SDLC processes including testing, validation, deployment, and production support

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Epic Clarity Data Model Certification (Clinical, Financial, or legacy equivalent)
  • Experience supporting regulatory and state healthcare reporting initiatives
  • Prior experience working in healthcare analytics, operational reporting, or public sector healthcare environments
  • Ability to adapt to evolving clinical workflows and communicate reporting impacts to leadership teams

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field preferred, * Do you have experience in Epic Clarity Data Model analytics development?
  • Do you have experience with SQL query development and stored procedure programming ?
