IT Specialist

Advanced Molecular Diagnostics has a need for a new IT team member with a broad range of skills, of moderate depth, which will include some development/coding. The candidate must have overall IT experience which will include some networking skills, database concepts, hardware experience, troubleshooting, and end user assistance. Desired development skills will include some or all of the following: SQL/MySQL, VBA, PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS. System platforms are Microsoft and Linux., This position is aimed at providing various kinds of assistance to our existing IT team members. Tasks will include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Assisting with development of internal web application(s)
• System configuration/installation
• Workstation setups
• Troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Assisting with database maintenance and reporting
• Minor networking tasks
• Documentation of processes, procedures, etc.
• Provide desktop support and technical assistance to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues.

• Proven experience in IT support or technical support roles.
• Proficiency in computer hardware troubleshooting and software troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts and practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being able to work independently when needed.
