Job description

Serves as the initial support resource for the assigned EpicCare Ambulatory application and end users. Troubleshoots and resolves routine application and integrated device issues, performs application maintenance and updates, supports workflow improvements, and provides end-user training., * Provide first-level support for EpicCare Ambulatory users by responding to support tickets, troubleshooting routine application issues, answering workflow and “how-to” questions, and escalating complex issues as needed.

  • Engage with end users to understand business operations, workflows, and system needs. Assist senior analysts in gathering requirements and identifying application solutions.
  • Perform routine application maintenance, including updating existing builds, templates, and configuration elements. Execute assigned build tasks, conduct unit testing, participate in quality assurance, validate changes, and maintain accurate application and workflow documentation.
  • Support quarterly Epic upgrades, implement approved system enhancements, complete application data maintenance, monitor error and audit reports, and identify trends requiring additional intervention.
  • Participate in team meetings, communicate with Epic representatives, share project updates, and present basic application concepts to super users when appropriate.
  • Deliver end-user training on system navigation, workflows, and new functionality. Provide upgrade training and ongoing support for super users both remotely and onsite.
  • Participate in professional development through Epic education, conferences, and internal training opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Associate degree with 2 additional years of related experience, or high school diploma/GED with 4 additional years of related experience, may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Experience

  • Minimum of 6 months of Epic application certification training and experience supporting an Epic application.
  • Experience troubleshooting routine application issues, maintaining application builds, testing system changes, and supporting end users.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively in a team environment.
