Job description

Boston Children’s Hospital seeks a Senior IT Epic Analyst to lead design, build, and optimization of Epic systems supporting pediatric care. In this role, you’ll partner with clinicians and IT to translate complex workflows into safe, efficient Epic solutions. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and go-live support across the care continuum. You’ll contribute to innovation initiatives, leveraging state-of-the-art tools to enhance quality, safety, and outcomes for children while mentoring junior analysts in a mission-driven environment., * Lead design, build, and optimization of Epic modules supporting pediatric clinical workflows

  • Collaborate with clinicians, IT, and operations to translate requirements into Epic solutions
  • Configure, test, and validate enhancements, upgrades, and new functionality
  • Troubleshoot complex Epic issues and provide Tier 2/3 support
  • Develop and maintain documentation, build specs, and test scripts
  • Support training, go-live, and adoption of new Epic features
  • Ensure system changes align with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Participate in multidisciplinary initiatives to improve care quality and efficiency
